π Orecchiette with Chicken and Cheese ππ§
- 1 pound orecchiette pasta π
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced π
- 2 cups spinach or kale, chopped πΏ
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) π§
- 3 cloves garlic, minced π§
- 1/4 cup olive oil π«
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning πΏ
- Salt and pepper to taste π§
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional) π§
Cook the Pasta:
- Boil a large pot of salted water π§. Add the orecchiette π and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil π« over medium heat. Add the diced chicken π, season with salt π§ and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Garlic and Greens:
- Add the minced garlic π§ and Italian seasoning πΏ to the skillet. SautΓ© for about 1 minute, then add the chopped spinach or kale πΏ. Cook until wilted.
Combine Pasta and Cheese:
- Add the drained orecchiette π to the skillet and toss everything together. Gradually stir in the shredded cheese π§ until melted and well combined.
Serve:
- Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese π§ if desired!
